While the Capulets and Moneques are fighting, the prince comes to break up the fighting between the two families and he makes a speech to the families to stop fighting. I think he knows the situation between the two fueding families and wants it to stop. At the end of his speech he tells one family to meet him for a meeting with him to discuss the fight and the other family to meet him later to discuss what to do. I am interested in what kind of impact the Prince will have on the fueding families and what they will do next.
The Prince is like the peace keeper between the Capulets and the Moneques. If its a fight that has been going on for a while then he must have been aware about the hate between these two families. The Prince then wants to talk to onw of the families about the fighting going on between the two families. Maybe the prince will force the two families to make up for their rivalry.
When the Capulets and Moneques were fighting the prince of Verona comes in on horseback and gives a speech. He calls the men beasts and orders them to throw their weapons to the ground. He tells the men if they every fight on the streets of Verona, there lifes will be spared. I am interested to see the families reaction to this statement when we see the movie tomorrow.
P.S. XBOX fan I know who you are. Message again, see what happens.
The Prince orders both families, the Capulets and Moneques to put their weapons on the ground and stop fighting. He tells them that they have disturbed the peaceful and quiet streets in Verona. He threatens them that if they ever fight eachother again, disturbing the streets, they will be killed. He orders the Capulets to come with him, and tells the Montagues to come in the afternoon.
The Prince comes to Verona and breaks the fight up between the men. He tells them to drop their weapons and to listen to him. He tells them that they have disturbed the quiet streets of Verona and to leave and that if they disturb the peace their lives will pay. He told everyone to leave except for the Caplets to go with him to talk about their fighting and for the the Moneques to meet with him in the afternoon to talk to him.
The prince is the person that showed up as the two families were fighting and he is like a peacekeeper in the small town called Verona. He thinks that the two families are very immature for causing a brawl like this in the middle of a small quiet town like Verona. The prince also says he will kill if it happened again. Then the Capulet’s went with the prince to talk about the fight and then the Montague’s would meet about the fight that afternoon and told everyone else to go home.
After the Capulet's and the Moneque’s start a fight in the streets of Verona, the price comes in with his horse. The prince is very mad at both the Capulet’s and the Moneque’s. They started a fight in a quite town just because of a few words said. He wants them to stop the foolishness and put down their arms. Then, he threatens to kill them if this incident ever happens again and everyone should head off now.

The prince is saying that if the two families disturb the peace one more time or fight in the streets then they will be killed for their crime. Capulet will go with the prince first then Montague later to talk about the punishment and all men must leave now or they will be killed.
In the middle of the quarrel between the Capulets and the Montague, the Prince arrives in order to handle the situation. He critizes both families by calling them beasts and tells them they have disrupted the quiet of the streets. He also threatens to kill them should they ever start such a mess again. Afterwards he orders to speak with the Capulets first, and the Montagues later in the afternoon.
The Prince is the middleman between the Moneques and the Capulets. He tells them how they are acting like fools and that they shouldn't be fighting over something that happened so long ago. The Prince wants to create peace between the feuding families and wants to solve the problems that are going on.I wonder if the Prince helps the families overcome their rivalry.
During the quarrel between the Capulets and the Moneques, the Prince arrives on the scene and declares the two families enemies to peace. The Prince is clearly not happy about what is going on.He then explains how he would like to meet with members of each family in Freetown at separate times to discuss the quarrel and potential solutions that could be brought about. However he states that if they should ever fight in the streets again they will pay for it with their lives. It will be interesting to see what happens later on and if this either the speech or the Prince will have any effect on either family and thier fights.
The Prince just wants everyone to be happy. He would like the fighting to stop even though he knows it won't. The Prince tells them to drop all of their weapons. He also tells them that they are ruing the city of Verona. The Prince does not understand why they have to keep fighting. In the end he tells them if they keep fighting, something bad might happen to them.
As the Capulets and Moneques were, the prince of our fair Verona comes to the rescue, so to speak. He ends the brawl and says an inspiring speech to the families. In this scene, the prince almost acts like a peace keeper like Bobby said. I predict that later on in the play, the prince will help end the rival between the two families.
When the Capulets, and the Moneques are fighting, the prince comes to break up the fight, and he says
"Rebellious subjects, enemies to peace,
Profaners of this neighbour-stained steel,--
Will they not hear? What, ho! you men, you beasts,
That quench the fire of your pernicious rage
With purple fountains issuing from your veins,
On pain of torture, from those bloody hands
Throw your mistemper'd weapons to the ground,
And hear the sentence of your moved prince.
Three civil brawls, bred of an airy word,
By thee, old Capulet, and Montague,
Have thrice disturb'd the quiet of our streets,
And made Verona's ancient citizens
Cast by their grave beseeming ornaments,
To wield old partisans, in hands as old,
Canker'd with peace, to part your canker'd hate:
If ever you disturb our streets again,
Your lives shall pay the forfeit of the peace.
For this time, all the rest depart away:
You Capulet; shall go along with me:
And, Montague, come you this afternoon,
To know our further pleasure in this case,
To old Free-town, our common judgment-place.
Once more, on pain of death, all men depart"
Which to me means "Disobedient subjects listen to me, and drop your weapons" he tells them that if they do not listen to him, there will be even more bloodshed, and if they disturb the quiet streets of verona once again, they will all pay for it with their lives. He tells all of the people to clear out of the streets so that he can talk to the Capulets, and that he will make time in his schedule in the afternoon to speak with the Monoques. So the prince is really like a peace keeper between the two fueding families.
Well I interpret this quote as the following. The prince is fed up with the families fighting and fighting. He said that he will talk to each family and if they fight once more on the Verona streets they will both be banished from the town. He said put down your weapons for ever or you will not be welcomed here anymore.
The prince rides in on a horse and yells at all the people for fighting including the CApulets and Moneques. He instructs them to put their weapons down and as he's leaveing he tells the Capulets to fallow him back and then he tells the Moneques to come back later.
The prince does not want the fighting to go on, he is more like a peace maker in the situation. The prince breaks up the conflict between the Monegues and the Capulets. He teels them to put down their weapons and demands of them to listen to him. He gives a speech to the families to stop fighting and tells them that they have disturbed the strrets of Verona, not once, not twice but three times. He threatens them by saying that their lives will be in jeopardy if they disturb the peace again. He tells one family to meet with him and the other to meet him later so that the Prince and them can discuss what to do with all this. I want to see what the two families will do after the Prince gave them the speech.
During the fight between the capulets and the moneques the prince makes his way through to try and break up the fight between the two envious families. He can understand the situation of the two disputing families and wants it to come to a conclude. After the speech he tells each family to meet him to talk to him at different times and places. This keeps me interested because i am eager to know how the Prince will handle this argument.
After the two families (Capulet’s and Monique’s) began fighting, the prince shows up and breaks up the fight between these families. Later he makes a speech to the families to seize the fighting. I think the prince knows what happened between the two families and wants to help stop it. At the end of the speech he gives to the Capulet’s and Monique’s, he tells one family to meet up with him to discuss the fight and tells the other family to meet him later to discuss what to do about the fighting. I think it will be interesting to see if the prince’s efforts to stop the fighting will have a large impact on this problem or not.
The Prince comes between the Capulets and the Moneques, in a way that, he was trying to keep peace between them so then the town would also be in peace. The Prince warns them that if they have another brawl, that they would have to pay for it in death. In my opinion the Prince knows about the grudge that they hold against each other. Though, he can't really stop the grudge, he tries to keep peace in the streets of Verona by threatening them. If further in the story the Prince helps make-up the peace between them I don't know, but I hope that their rivalry gets settled.
